Where we sample
Sampling works when the product, the place, and the people meet at the right moment. We pick the channel that matches the audience - and run it end-to-end.
In-store & retail demos
Sampling programs inside grocery, liquor, big-box, and specialty retail - staffed by trained demo ambassadors who know your product and the store's protocols.
Street teams
High-traffic urban sampling, neighbourhood drops, and downtown activations - getting product into the hands of the people walking past where your audience already lives, works, and gathers.
Festival & event sampling.
Music festivals, fairs, sporting events, food and drink shows - meeting your audience where they're already in the mood to try something new.
Mobile sampling tours.
Multi-stop programs that take your product across the region - branded vehicles, custom displays, trained crews, and a tour schedule built to scale.

Common questions about product sampling
-
Product sampling is the practice of putting a brand's product directly into consumers' hands — for tasting, testing, or trial — in person at a point where they're likely to buy. Channels include in-store demos, street teams, festival and event sampling, retail pop-ups, and mobile sampling tours. The goal: turn first-time experience into long-term purchase.
-
Yes — when designed correctly. Industry research consistently shows that in-person sampling outperforms most other forms of consumer marketing on conversion rate, particularly for food, beverage, and personal care products. The conditions: right product, right channel, right audience, trained ambassador. We design programs around those four conditions.
-
Costs vary by channel, volume, and duration. Single-store demo days typically run $1,500–$3,500 per location. Multi-location retail demo programs are priced per location-day. Multi-stop tours or festival sampling programs are scoped end-to-end and typically start in the mid-five figures. Product cost and transport are separate line items.
-
Every program ties to defined metrics agreed in discovery — samples distributed, conversations had, observed conversions (where retail partners allow), social mentions, location performance comparisons, and where available, lift in baseline sales tracked through your retail partner's data. Reporting is delivered weekly during the program and consolidated at wrap.
-
Yes. Our ambassadors are food handler certified, our transport is cold-chain capable, and we hold the licenses required to sample alcoholic products through NSLC and the equivalent Atlantic provincial liquor authorities. We handle the compliance work so your team doesn't have to.
-
Single-event or single-store activations can launch in two to three weeks. Multi-location demo programs typically need four to six weeks. Multi-stop tours and festival sampling programs need six to twelve weeks of lead time — retail and venue calendars book out further than most brands expect.
